Chocolate Orange French Toast

Start your morning with this indulgent Chocolate-Stuffed French Toast! Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and finished with a burst of citrusy sweetness, it’s the ultimate treat for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 thick slice of brioche bread (approximately 50 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 50 ml chocolate milk
  • 30 g chocolate of choice
  • 7 g (1/2 tablespoon) butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 30 g (approximately 1/8 cup) sugar

Instructions:

  1. Cut a horizontal slit in the brioche slice and insert the chocolate of your choice into the pocket.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and chocolate milk until smooth.
  3. Lightly soak both sides of the brioche slice in the mixture, ensuring it's well-coated but not overly saturated.
  4. Heat a buttered pan over medium-high heat and fry the toast for about 1 minute on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar. Toss the warm toast in this mixture until fully coated.
