Sweet Potato, Taro and Purple Yam Tapioca Ball are the traditional Taiwanese cuisine dessert made of sweet potato, taro and purple yam. It can be found in almost every part of Taiwan, among which Jiufen's taro ball is said to be the most famous. They can be served with drink either cold or hot.

Let’s try to make milk tea to serve with those tapioca balls.

Signature Black Tea   400ml

Fructose                      30ml

Creamer                      30g

Mix all ingredients in a cup and ready to serve with tapioca balls.

How to prepare purple yam tapioca ball?

  1. Put the tapioca balls into boiling water
  2. Boil for 1 minute
  3. Turn off the heat and drain out water
  4. Soak into sugar syrup/ honey longan syrup to enhance flavor (optional)

Store in room temperature and consume within 2-3 hours depending on temperature
