Matcha Marble Mini Loaf
This mini loaf is soft, subtly sweet, and features beautiful green matcha swirls using Sunwide’s Matcha powder. The marbling effect is easy to create and gives each slice a balanced mix of plain and matcha flavours ideal for slicing, sharing, or pairing with milk tea.
Ingredients:
-
120 g all-purpose flour (≈1 cup)
-
10 g baking powder (≈2 tsp)
-
15 g Sunwide Matcha Powder (≈2 tbsp)
-
1 large egg
-
60 ml vegetable oil (≈¼ cup)
-
50 ml milk or water (milk gives a softer crumb)
-
40 ml Sunwide Fructose Syrup (≈2 tbsp + 2 tsp)
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a mini loaf pan or line it with baking paper.
-
In a bowl, sift together flour and baking powder.
-
In another bowl, whisk together the egg, oil, milk (or water), and Sunwide fructose syrup until well combined.
-
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until smooth (do not overmix).
-
Transfer about ⅓ of the batter to a separate bowl and whisk in the Sunwide Matcha Powder until fully blended.
-
Pour the plain and matcha batters alternately into the prepared loaf pan. Use a toothpick or skewer to create a gentle marble swirl.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
-
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and serve once fully cooled.
