
Grape Syrup Glazed Cookies
Sweet, chewy, and with a glossy finish, these Grape Syrup Glazed Cookies take your cookie game to the next level. The fruity glaze adds a burst of sweetness that perfectly complements the soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Ingredients:
• 113 grams unsalted butter, softened
• 65 grams sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 5 grams vanilla extract
• 150 grams all-purpose flour
• Pinch of salt
• 50 ml Sunwide grape syrup
• 50 grams powdered sugar
• 50 ml water or milk (as needed for texture)
Instructions:
1. Make the Cookie Dough:
• Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix well.
• Stir in flour and salt until dough forms.
• Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
2. Shape and Bake:
• Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
• Roll dough into small balls and flatten slightly (or use cookie cutters).
• Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
• Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
• Let cool completely.
3. Make the Glaze:
• Mix grape syrup with powdered sugar.
• Add a little water or milk to get a smooth, pourable glaze.
4. Decorate:
• Spoon or brush glaze over cooled cookies.
• Let sit until the glaze firms up (about 20–30 mins).
