Panna cotta

Treat yourself to a creamy delight with our Panna Cotta! This elegant dessert is all about smooth textures and rich flavours, making it a perfect way to impress your friends or enjoy a special treat just for yourself. With just a few simple ingredients like Sunwide yoghourt powder and luscious heavy whipping cream, you’ll whip up a velvety dessert that melts in your mouth. A drizzle of Sunwide mango syrup adds a burst of fruity goodness that takes this dish to the next level. Get ready to savour every luscious spoonful!

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml milk
  • 2 grams gelatin
  • 1 tsp (3 g) Sunwide yoghourt powder
  • 115 mL  heavy whipping cream
  • 20 g sugar
  • Pinch of salt (approximately 0.5 g)
  • Small amount of vanilla extract (about 1/2 tsp or 2.5 ml)
  • Sunwide mango syrup, to serve (as needed)

Instructions:

  • Place the milk in a medium saucepan and sprinkle the top with gelatin. Let stand 3-5 min or until gelatin is softened.
  • Place pan over medium heat and stir until gelatin dissolves and mixture is steaming, for about 4-5 min (do not boil).
  • Add Sunwide yoghourt powderthickened cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue stirring for about 5 min until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is steaming (do not boil). Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Once cooled, sieve and pour into a small ramekin
  • Refrigerate for 5 hours
  • Dip ramekin in a bowl of hot water for 5-10 seconds.
  • Run a knife around the edge of the ramekin to break the seal from the dish
  • Invert the ramekin over a serving dish. Tap the ramekin and lift the dish away from the set panna cotta
  • Top with Sunwide mango syrup
