Frequently asked questions
How do I brew Four Seasons Green Tea Leaves?
Heat the water to 90°C, stir the leaves in, cover and steep for 10 minutes, strain the leaves out, then add the ice to chill. Brewing hot and chilling with ice is what holds the aroma. A cold steep never pulls it out.
What is the shelf life, and how should I store it?
Store in a dry, cool place away from strong smells and direct sunlight. Reseal the foil bag after each use, as tea picks up odours quickly. The best-before date is printed on every bag and every carton.
How many drinks can I make from one 300g bag?
One 300g bag makes about 12 litres of finished tea at the 1:25:15 ratio: 300g of leaves, 7.5 litres of hot water and 4.5kg of ice.
What are the bag and carton specifications?
Order single units, or by the carton for wholesale pricing. Stock is held in our Melbourne and Sydney warehouses.
What else can I use Four Seasons Green Tea Leaves for?
Four Seasons is brewed hotter and heavier than our other green teas: 90°C and 100g, not 80°C and 80g.
