Recipe 1: Flavoured Soft Serve
Classic creamy base with taro or fruit syrup, works in any soft serve machine.
Ingredients: Soft Serve Powder 1kg, Water 2,000ml, Fresh Milk 1,000ml, plus one of: Taro Powder 150g, or Sunwide Fruit Syrup 200g.
- Combine base powder, water, milk and your chosen flavour into a clean mixing vessel.
- Whisk or stir until fully dissolved with no lumps.
- Pour into the soft serve machine hopper and process as per machine instructions.
Tip: Using milk gives a richer, creamier texture. Adjust flavour powder or syrup amount to suit your preferred intensity.
Recipe 2: Oolong Tea Soft Serve
Brewed tea base for an authentic Asian style soft serve.
Brew the Oolong Tea: tea to water ratio 1:35 (84g tea to 2,950ml water), 95°C, steep for 10 minutes.
Soft Serve Mix: Soft Serve Powder 1kg with 3,000 to 3,500ml hot brewed oolong tea (powder to tea ratio 1:3 to 1:3.5).
- Brew the oolong tea, then allow to cool slightly if needed.
- Combine 1kg base powder with 3,000ml of brewed tea. Whisk until fully dissolved.
- Pour into the soft serve machine hopper and process as per machine instructions.
Note for other teas: Tea strength varies by type. Lighter teas suit a 1:3 to 1:3.5 ratio, stronger teas suit 1:2.5 to 1:3.
