Frequently asked questions
How do I cook Tapioca Balls?
Cooked pearls are best served while freshly cooked — they harden as they sit and the chew is lost.
What is the shelf life, and how should I store it?
Store in a dry, cool place when unopened, and refrigerate once opened. The best-before date is printed on every bag and every carton.
How many drinks can I make from one 3kg bag?
Pearls roughly double in weight once cooked, so 30g dry comes out around 60g in the cup. A 6-bag carton (18kg) makes roughly 600 drinks at 30g.
What are the bag and carton specifications?
Order single units, or by the carton for wholesale pricing. Stock is held in our Melbourne and Sydney warehouses.
What else can I use Tapioca Balls for?
This is the standard black pearl — the default in almost every bubble tea menu.
