1g Tea : 25g Hot Water : 15g Ice

Example – Batch Brewing

Tea Leaves: 100g
Hot Water (100°C): 2,500ml
Ice: 1,500g

Instructions

Bring 2.5 litres of water to the boil.
Add 100g of tea leaves and stir gently to ensure the leaves are evenly immersed.
Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
Strain out the tea leaves.
Add 1,500g of ice to the brewed tea and stir well. The tea is ready to serve.

Fresh Milk Tea 輕乳茶 – 500ml Recipe

Ingredients

Fructose: 35g
All Purpose Creamer Concentrate: 28g
Ice: 140g
Milk: 28g
Whispers of Bamboo Oolong Tea: 280g

Instructions

Add all ingredients to the T133 shaker jar.
Press “Shake” and wait until the machine stops. The drink is then ready to serve.
If a T133 shaker set is not available, add all ingredients to a manual shaker and shake well before serving.

How do I brew Whispers of Bamboo Oolong?

Use 1 part tea to 25 parts hot water and 15 parts ice. For 20g of leaves that is 500ml of water at 100°C and 300g of ice.

Bring the water to the boil, stir the leaves in, cover and steep for 10 minutes, strain the leaves out, then add the ice to chill. Brewing hot and chilling with ice is what holds the aroma — a cold steep never pulls it out.

What is the shelf life, and how should I store it?

Unopened, 24 months from the production date printed on the bag.

Store in a dry, cool place away from strong smells and direct sunlight. Reseal the foil bag after each use — tea picks up odours quickly. The best-before date is printed on every bag and every carton.

How many drinks can I make from one 500g bag?

About 66 drinks, based on 300ml of brewed tea per 700ml cup.

One 500g bag makes about 20 litres of finished tea at the 1:25:15 ratio — 500g of leaves, 12.5 litres of hot water and 7.5kg of ice.
